Social UP - Design Thinking for Social Enterprises EU project kicks off in Birmingham

The first meeting among the partners was kindly hosted by project leader DesignThinkers UK in The Moseley Exchange, an inspiring local successful social enterprise while Design Thinking was applied to the discussion in view of coming up with innovative ways to undertake and deliver research, design the main product, the DT Field Guide and test it, involving design thinking experts, social entrepreneurs, VET trainers, social business consultants throughout the co-creation process.
Social UP partners got an insight and tour of the Moseley Exchange, a modern open plan office in the heart of Moseley Village in Birmingham, where members can meet, work, learn, exchange ideas and be inspired. A place where collaboration and innovation go hand in hand with the mission to be a creative neighborhood, valued and sustained by its community. The Moseley Exchange hosts more than 50 people and businesses working from their coworking space.
